Game 4

NBA Playoffs, Nuggets Vs Timberwolves Live Score and Updates:

The Denver Nuggets battled back from their loss in Game 1 to even their Western Conference semifinal series with Minnesota Timberwolves with an easy victory on Thursday in a game where final score indicated otherwise. They overcame an early hot start by Wolves to take an early lead they wouldn’t relinquish, setting up a decisive Game 5 matchup which is set for Tuesday back in Denver.

Denver raced out to an early advantage thanks to an array of outstanding plays from Nikola Jokic – including two dunks from him! However, due to a poor second quarter effort by Denver they lost much of their early momentum which allowed Minnesota Wolves back into the contest.

After falling behind early, Denver quickly rallied in the first half, going on a 14-2 run to restore double digit lead with Jamal Murray hitting an amazing half court shot and taking back double digit advantage. Timberwolves would cut that deficit down to seven in the final minute of play before Denver showed their experience by opening up an 11-point advantage as teams entered halftime.

Karl-Anthony Towns’ poor shooting continued to hamper Minnesota’s offense during the second half. Towns managed just one field goal during the third quarter and finished with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists; an unacceptable output from someone with his talent.

Denver All-Star Aaron Gordon appeared to have his best game of the season, scoring 24 points on 8-for-15 shooting and making several impressive 3-pointers off of his dribble; his ability to create space off of him allowed Denver teammates to get open on the perimeter more easily than Minnesota did.
